Understanding about the structure of the myofascial web & elastic recoil will allow the instructor/therapist to design and deliver a programme to reduce injury and injury potential and speed up recovery. By considering force transmissions through the fascial lines & appreciating the difference between movement of fascia & muscle the therapist/instructor will be able to load and train elasticity for walking, breathing and running. The practical session will demonstrate whole body movement maximising the use of the properties of water to assist in lengthening the fascial lines and restoring elastic movement. This workshop is intended for aquatic fitness instructors, therapists or individuals working with injured athletes.
