Course Cancellations & Transfers

We understand that circumstances can change and aim to consider every request individually wherever possible. Where possible, you may transfer your in-person booking to another course within 12 months of your original in-person course date. This includes illness and unforeseen personal circumstances.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking and we are unable to fill your place, the following refund policy applies:

7 days or more before the course: Full refund (100%)
4–6 days before the course: 50% refund
Less than 4 days before the course: No refund available

Non-Attendance: If you do not attend your course without notifying us beforehand, including due to illness or personal circumstances, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer.

Course Cancellation by AREA

In the unlikely event that AREA needs to cancel a course due to exceptional circumstances, you will be offered either:

A place on a rescheduled course or A full refund of any payments made.

AREA is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with current UK GDPR legislation. We will never sell or share your personal information with third parties unless required by law.

Customer Service & Complaints

We pride ourselves on providing a professional and friendly service. If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us within 5 working days of the issue arising.

We aim to:

Acknowledge and respond within 7 working days
Resolve complaints within 4 weeks wherever possible

If a complaint cannot be resolved directly, we will work with you to identify an appropriate independent third party to assist. AREA reserves the right to close complaints that are deemed malicious, repetitive or unreasonable once a fair resolution has been offered.

Respectful Behaviour

AREA operates a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening or aggressive behaviour. Any participant whose behaviour is considered intimidating, abusive, or inappropriate towards staff or other delegates may have their booking terminated immediately without refund.

Minimum Age

Participants must be 18 years of age or over to attend AREA courses.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, presentations and learning resources remain the intellectual property of Aquatic Rehabilitation and Exercise Academy Ltd. These materials are provided for your personal learning only and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
